On April 28th we did an interactive service on the title “Change, Expectations and Tolerance”. We talked a lot about our life changes that brought us to be UU’s, but we didn’t talk much about other changes that have affected our life and the expectations that go along with those changes. We will explore the expectations we have for ourselves and others regarding those changes and what we will tolerate and what we will not.
We all change. We don’t believe the same things we did when we were in college or maybe even a few weeks ago. As we change, there are expectations for ourselves and from others. Those expectations range from behavior changes to the way we choose our words. Finally, do we tolerate the changes in others or don’t we? We will explore these ideas in an interactive service.
Pastor Emma and John Miller sit down to discuss the universal experience of grief. Loss is a consequence of loving. Emma and John have experienced their fair share of both. Join us as we lean into this vulnerable and important subject.

Seeing Ourselves Truly ~~ Rev. Eva Cameron preaching with John Miller
John and Eva are excited to bring another dialogue sermon to you. We will share stories and explore the ways we have of starting to see more clearly the privileges that come to us by virtue of our birth, race and status in life.
